2012 Greater Dallas Women's Summit

This year's 9th Annual Greater Dallas Women's Summit was once again, affirmation of the success and significance of a record-setting event in regards to attendance. This year's theme, "Women Leaders as Architects of Change", and the topics were expertly addressed by each panelist as well as our moderator, Shivaun Palmer of the Women's Broadcast Network and Plaid for Women™. Everyone willingly shared their personal stories, experiences, knowledge and insight along with their comments, quotes and quips, which reinforced the theme. The more than 245 guests were enlightened and encouraged by the information contributed by each and every program participant. We were excited and honored to have the following well-respected women leaders to participate as panelists:

The relevant discussion topics included: "Becoming a Person of Influence", "Cross-Cultural Leadership: Women Bridging the Racial Divide", "The "M" Factor in Mentoring for Leadership and Success", "I'm a Woman…I'm Invincible…and I'm Exhausted (Work-Life Balance)", Personal Branding: Accessorizing Your Assets", and "Own Your Finances, Own Your Life". Our sincere thanks are extended to our generous co-title sponsors, Brinker International, and the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, who also served as our host and has hosted this significant event for the past five years. We want to continue to acknowledge that the success of our event could not have happened without the support of each and every sponsor: the corporations, organizations and individuals that unselfishly supported the 2012 Women's Summit. Plans are underway for our 2013 Greater Dallas Women's Summit, which will be held in November…please stay tuned for the event details.
