William Traylor
Regional Vice President
AT&T

William F. Traylor was appointed to his current role in early 2014 as the Regional Vice President for our small-mid markets B2B organization in Southeast Texas for AT&T Mobility & Business Solutions (CBS), encompassing a $130 million portfolio of client relations and almost 300 customers. His responsibilities are revenue centered and cover all facets of sales, operations, service, and staffing. Most recently he served as Chief of Staff for Global Customer Service including all operations, budgeting, staffing, strategy and organizational development for this diverse organization of 2,000 presonnel located across the globe. Formerly, across a 12 year career, he has served in a variety of leadership roles of increasing responsibility within Sales, Business Development, Technical Marketing and Sales Operations across the AT&T Business Solutions organization with both private and public clients. Prior to his tenure with AT&T, his experience includes work for IP Communications, and a number of leading technology firms, and entrepreneurial ventures focused on product management, sales engineering, and technical marketing.

In addition to his corporate responsibilities, William is very proactive in the community. He is steadfast and committed to giving back and making deposits in the bank of life. In recognition of this dedication, he was recognized in 2009 by the Houston Business Journal as one of the inaugural "40 under 40", and most recently in 2011 he was named a Young Hispanic Corporate Achiever by the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility, both of these awards recognize young leaders who excel in their industries, are respected business leaders and show dynamic leadership in their community. William is a graduate of Leadership Houston Class XXVI, and was recently appointed as Chair Elect for Leadership Houston as well, officially taking the helm in 2015. He is also the immediate past Chair of Greater Houston Black Chamber (formerly Houston Citizens Chamber of Commerce.). He has also served on the boards Talento De Bilingue, Houston Area Urban League, and the 100 Black Men.

Mr. Traylor recently spent a semester in residence at Harvard University Extension, completing his undergraduate studies concentrating in the social sciences, with a Field Study in International Relations, and Government, focusing on the intersection of Technology, Innovation, Commerce and Civic Society. He formerly attended Texas Southern University prior to departing to pursue entrepreneurial endeavors.

William is originally from Hawaii, and currently resides in Pearland, Texas with his wife Chana Traylor and 3 lovely daughters.
