UNT Health Science Center

Jennifer is Vice President of Administration and Chief of Staff to the President. Jennifer serves as a liaison between the President and his direct reports. She often works with leaders on campus to solve problems and address issues before they escalate to the President and is often involved in special projects.

Prior to joining the UNTHSC in 2007, Jennifer was a Product Marketing Manager for RadioShack Corp and in store management and retail operations with HEB Grocery. She holds an MBA from the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University and a BBA in marketing and management from Texas Tech University.

Jennifer is an active member of several organizations and boards including Chair of the Fort Worth Chapter of the Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas (HWNT), District 2 Appointee to the City Plan Commission, TCU MBA Advisory Board and Vice President of her neighborhood association, which has won city and national awards for its programs.

In 2010, she was honored by being named to the "40 Under 40" class by the Fort Worth Business Press and the United Hispanic Council also awarded her a Hispanic Heritage Award that year. In 2012, she was recognized as one of 17 women honored as the “Most Powerful and Influential Women” by the Texas Diversity Council. Later in 2012, she was selected as one of 12 Hispanic leaders from across the United States for the MillerCoors Líderes program, which honors outstanding Hispanics for their vision, commitment to service and ability to inspire their communities.

HWNT has also honored Jennifer by awarding her a Rising Star Award in 2007, a Shining Star Award for 2012, and the chapter’s Estrella Award at the state level of the organization in 2013. Jennifer’s accomplishments with HWNT include serving as Scholarship Chair in 2009-2010, many years of service on the education and scholarship committees along with fundraising efforts and most recently, the development and support of our Latinas in Progress Alumni group. She will serve as Chair of the organization in 2015 and 2016.

Jennifer looks forward to enhancing her professional career and serving her community thanks to the unwavering support of her husband of 13 years, Chris Treviño.
