Janet Pope
North America Diversity & Inclusion Leader
Capgemini

Janet Pope is currently leveraging 10 years of consulting experience working with executive leadership teams to develop strategies for supporting the implementation of collaborative solutions to expand the reach of Diversity & Inclusion initiatives at Capgemini. Responsible for continuing to cultivate a culture of inclusion at Capgemini by developing, leading, and implementing workforce diversity & inclusion strategies that align directly with the business strategy, corporate values, and overarching goals; Janet is partnering with Learning & Development, Talent Management, Marketing, Sales and Delivery to deliver results.

With a background as a Technology Transformation consultant before moving into her D&I role, Janet brings a fresh perspective to D&I based on the correlation between the business value derived from diversity of thought and the business value derived from access to information and data. By defining programs that support a holistic view of diversity, including differences in leadership and communication styles, values, cultures, and experiences, she is also leading Capgemini’s global efforts to mitigate unconscious bias, create impactful global networks beyond gender, and analyze Capgemini’s quantitative and qualitative data to identify additional opportunities to grow, engage, and retain diversity in Capgemini’s talent pipeline. Janet leads the Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability program for North America, holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Clemson University, a master’s degree in Engineering Management from Duke University, and is on the National Diversity Council’s Gulf Coast Advisory Board in Houston, TX where she currently resides.
