Gopal leads the Customer Success mission for IBM Security Systems Division through a worldwide team of professionals who plan, implement and support security solutions based on software offerings from IBM.
Gopal came to IBM in 2006 through the acquisition of Webify Solutions where he built core technologies and solutions for healthcare and property & casualty insurance using Service-oriented Architecture (SOA) and Business Process Management (BPM) technologies. Gopal holds five U.S. Patents in SOA/Web Services and Electronic Document Interchange (EDI).
Prior to joining Webify, Gopal held executive and technical leadership positions at IBT Technologies, IBM/Tivoli Systems, Formtek, a Lockheed Martin Subsidiary and Intergraph Corporation.
Gopal holds MS in Computer Science from New Mexico Tech, BS (Honors) in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa, Canada and BS and MS in Mathematics from University of Madras, India.
