Texas Hispanic Summit

According to the most recent population projections from
the Texas State Data Center at Texas A&M University, the
Texas population is expected to reach 35 million by 2040.
This would be an approximately 68 percent increase of the
state’s population. Hispanics will account for 83 percent
of this growth and are expected to outnumber Anglos in Texas
by 2020. Hispanics play an integral role in the state of Texas,
limited not to mere population demographics, but in every
facet of the Texas community. The First Annual Texas Hispanic
Summit will feature speakers addressing current and future
concerns of the Hispanic Community. The topics that will be
covered include:

• Health care
• Immigration
• Leadership
• Politics
• Sustainable Development
• Entrepreneurship
