Texas Hispanic Summit
May 15th 7:45am – 11:45am

According to the most recent population projections from the Texas State Data Center at Texas A&M University, the Texas population is expected to reach 35 million by 2040. This would be an approximately 68 percent increase of the state’s population. Hispanics will account for 83 percent of this growth and are expected to outnumber Anglos in Texas by 2020. Hispanics play an integral role in the state of Texas, limited not to mere population demographics, but in every facet of the Texas community. The First Annual Texas Hispanic Summit will feature speakers addressing current and future concerns of the Hispanic Community. The topics that will be covered include:

• Education

• Health care

• Immigration

• Leadership

• Politics

• Sustainable Development

• Entrepreneurship

Come join the statewide dialogue.
