CEO Initiative
The CEO is who sets an organization's corporate agenda and who has the responsibility
to drive results. Today more than ever CEOs have begun to recognize the business
imperative of reaching diverse customers, clients, employees and suppliers. CEOs are
key to fulfilling diversity and inclusion goals for any organization knowing full well that
their Leadership in this regard; ads credibility, accountability and sustainability to
diversity efforts. This new initiative will be the first of its kind in Texas. CEOs will have
the unique opportunity to ensure that they are visible champions of diversity & inclusion not
only in their organizations but in the community where they live.
TXDC CEO Initiative includes:
Texas Diversity & Leadership Conference CEO Roundtable & Awards
This annual event will recognize and honor CEO's as diversity champions nominated and
selected by their peers and other industry leaders. The awards are accepted by CEOs on
behalf of their companies during each annual Texas Diversity & Leadership Conference,
April 7, 2011 in Dallas, TX.
